Eickmeyer & Associates, Inc. has developed various catalysts, corrosion inhibitors, and antifoams licensed as CATACARB® products.
CATACARB® products fall under the four following categories:
CATACARB® organic catalysts have high activity, are resistant to oxidation, and have the benefit of low vapor losses. Organic catalysts are best suited for the following applications:
- Ammonia synthesis gas
- Hydrogen gas
- Natural gas for pipeline (NG) or liquified natural gas (LNG)
- Substitute natural gas (SNG)
- Iron ore reduction gas
- Methanol synthesis gas
In addition to the above mentioned applications, CATACARB® organic catalysts can be used to convert other Hot Potassium Carbonate (HPC) systems.
CATACARB® inorganic catalyst enhances both absorption and stripping efficiencies by more than 60% above those of comparable HPC processes. The inorganic catalyst is a high activity, stable promoter compatible with O2. Furthermore, it offers effective corrosion inhibition, protection against wet CO2 attack, and protection against erosion/corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.
The inorganic catalyst is best suited for the following applications:
- Ethlyene oxide (EO) recycle gas
- Flue gas
- VAM recycle gas
- Nitrous oxide product stream
- Autoclave recycle oxygen stream
Our corrosion inhibitor is proven to be very effective. It offers protection against wet CO2 attack, erosion/corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. The CATACARB® corrosion inhibitor can be regenerated, has low vapor losses, and comes in liquid form for easy handling.
